Smaller localized events are conducted at various county facilities in the Spring and Fall. These events are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY! Please check the list below for the location closest to you. Click the link corresponding to the event to make an appointment and for additional information about the event.

The HazMobile events accept all chemicals that we accept at our permanent facility. BOPA events only accept Batteries, Oil, Latex Paint and Antifreeze.

  • Pct 1: HazMobile Event: Miller Road Service Center located at 15530 Miller Road Houston TX 77049 from 8 am – 11 am on October 15, 2022. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. The link to schedule an appointment will be added 5 weeks before the event date.
  • Pct 2: The Fall 2022 HazMobile Event for Pct 2 was held on September 17, 2022. You may make an appointment for the HHW Collection Facility or attend the event on October 13, 2022 listed below.
  • Pct 2: BOPA Event: Jim Fonteno Annex located at 14350 Wallisville Road 77049 from 8 am – 11 am on October 13, 2022. This event is for Batteries/Oil/Latex Paint/Antifreeze only. PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
  • Pct 3: HazMobile Event: Lyndsey Lyons Park located at 2310 Atascocita Road Humble TX 77396 from 8 am -11 am on October 29, 2022.  PLEASE CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT.
  • Pct 4: HazMobile Event: Bear Creek Pioneers Park, located at 3055 Bear Creek Drive Houston TX 77084 from 8 am – 11 am on December 3,2022.  
    PLEASE CHECK BACK TO SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT. The link to schedule an appointment will be added 5 weeks before the event date.

This facility can only accept items from your household that have been used for household purposes.

Instructions when you get to the facility

When you arrive at the facility, please drive slowly between the orange cones and follow instructions on the signs.  Drive slowly over the speed humps and stop at the stop sign for further instructions.  You will be advised when to drive under the awning for offloading.  For safety reasons, you must put your vehicle in park, turn off your ignition, and remain in your vehicle while being offloaded.  Also for your safety, no one may smoke while on facility property and cell phone use by the driver is prohibited.
